Conditions of Use

Our Terms and Conditions are very easy.

Please do not show your lack of morals by making outrageous orders and trying to use invalid credit cards to place them. This only eats up your time and ours and results in bad karma for you to deal with at a later date. We are not a large company so things don't slip by us. Only myself and my husband handle the ordering section here so we are likely to catch these things.  All we ask is that you live by what you believe. We, in turn,  promise to handle your orders as quickly as humanly possible and notify you of any problems as quickly as possible. We do not handle orders on Saturday or Sunday as this is family time.

Who *is* The Book of Shadows

We are a totally owned pagan family business that has been operating as a store since 1995.  Our names are JoAnne and Darrell Thomas and we are reachable directly by email at:

Many of you already know us from the several Yahoo Groups, Newsgroups or other pagan places on the internet or through festivals we do around the country.  We started out in the Tampa, Florida area in 1991 as a local BBS with one of the first access points available to the international scene through the original daily *uunet packs* for local BBS services.  Since moving to the beautiful mountains of the North Carolina Blue Ridge Range in 1999, we have increased the store, purchased an auction house which many of you are familiar with, E-Witch Auctions, and remain dedicated to bringing you the best quality, best selection, best availability and best service at the most reasonable price.
